My First Granddaughter

Dresden arrived today at 3:48 PM. She weighted in at 8 lbs. Watching her arrival was awesome and hearing her first, soft cry is like music to my heart. Congratulations Kimberly and Dustin! And thanks for my sweet bundle of joy!

Flash....Kim is expecting a BABY the first of February
and we are having a GIRL! My first grandaughter (I have four grandsons)...I am so excited I can hardly wait for her arrival. Guess the warning worked! I told my kids the next child is getting lace regardless of the sex. Ha ha...Yes, we are having a beautiful, sweet baby girl! I'm looking forward to holding her in my arms and whispering, "I've been waiting a very long time for your arrival," while kissing her gently on the cheek. Thanks Kim, dreams do come true. I'm grinning from ear to ear!
