Arie Payter Kuipers
Kris and Cassie are the proud parents of Arie, who arrived Sunday, May 17th. Another sweet baby boy added to my posterity! What joy! I spent most of the day at the hospital with my daughters and son enjoying each others company. It tickles my heart to see my son so happy to have his son to hold and cherish. When I walked into the nursery the sight of my son holding his son tugged at my heart strings. Family is the best!!!

Bounty
Sitting down with brush in hand, I begin to paint. What happens to a canvas touched ever-so-gently by an art brush dipped in paint?...

Spring is in the air; a rich, green carpet spreads over the hills while the smell of newly sprouted-flowers fill my senses. After attending church, family race to my home in anticipation of a savory feast, lovingly spread upon the candy laden table. Tantalizing morsels of food make mouths salivate, while friendly chatter fill the air. Nearby, the sound of childrens' giggles reach my ears as they run to greet cousins. Clanking Easter baskets spill sweets onto the floor for the patiently waiting dog beyond. I soak up the sounds; the sounds of cherished family is the dearest sound on earth!

Dresden's Blessing
I made Dresden's long, white dress for her to be blessed in Sunday, March 1. She looked like a beautiful little princess in her father's arms; surrounded by her grandfathers, uncles, and friends. Dustin and Kimberly had everyone over for a yummy lunch of assorted meats, cheeses, and salads. What a enjoyable and delightful day!!!

My First Granddaughter
Dresden arrived today at 3:48 PM. She weighted in at 8 lbs. Watching her arrival was awesome and hearing her first, soft cry is like music to my heart. Congratulations Kimberly and Dustin! And thanks for my sweet bundle of joy!
